  Stel je voor… een eiland met ongekende diversiteit. Een baai en drie bijzondere landschappen . Door het gebied kronkelt een ontdekkingsroute waarlangs je leert over jouw relatie met de natuur. Xavier San Giorgi en zijn community laten je op Utopia Eiland zien hoe rijk ecosysteemherstel kan zijn. Slimme combinaties met eetbare bomen, struiken en vaste planten die onze omgeving herstellen en verrijken. De route zelf zit vol verrassingen. Van toekomstbestendige landschappen tot slimmigheidjes van de natuur. In deze veldgids vind je de verdieping: waarom hebben we herstellende landbouw nodig? Wat is Forest Water? En hoe ontcijfer je natuurlijke patronen? Leer bomen lezen, bezoek het composttheater of wurm je door de wormenwasstraat. Dompel je onder inn het Agroforestry perceel, het recreatieve voedselbos en het schoolplein, ervaar hoe je het beste samenwerkt met de natuur om deze weer te herstellen. Show less

  Agroforestry & Food Forests Practice - Planning - Research - Consultancy - Education We work together with a large group of like-minded people and professionals from various disciplines on system change in the field of (urban)agriculture and thereby help the restoration of ecosystem. Agroforestry is a form of circular agriculture in which systems and knowledge of Forestry, Agriculture and Livestock are combined. We look for combinations that reinforce each other both ecological and economical. Agroforestry is scalable and feasible for farmers. Food Forests which are modeled after a natural forest ecosystem can play a very important role in Urban Agriculture. It can reconnecting citizens with their environment by adding an edible perennial use to our city scapes, parks and recreation area's.   “Wat me doet deelnemen aan het Lab is om met een grote groep gelijkgestemden en professionals vanuit diverse disciplines gezamenlijk te werken aan systeemverandering op het gebied van de landbouw en ecosysteem herstel. Ik hoop hier kennis en ervaring op te doen met Theory-U als methodiek voor het aanpakken van complexe socio-ecologische vraagstukken rond onze welvaart en die van de aarde. De vraag is namelijk voor mij niet of er een oplossing is of dat het kan, maar of we het gezamenlijke belang en gedeelde waarde zien. Als die er is dan kan er in een korte tijd veel gebeuren!” Show less
