I interned for 3 summers at the Center for Microplasma Science and Technology which was funded by an Air Force grant. We designed and implemented experiments to ionize different gases into plasma using different electrode and chamber parameters. Our experiments were centered around empirically proving the Paschen Curve phenomenon as well as developing a 5-part educational video series. The video series is published on YouTube and the research is published in the IEEE journal.
