  Clevland Cliffs North Shore Mining operation gave me the opportunity to be a summer student at their facility in Silver Bay, MN. While working on crew within the Concentrator, I learned about the technical aspects of the iron ore mining process. These skills included the chemical, mechanical, safety, and comradery that occurs daily in these facilities. This experience has allowed me to relate immense amounts of my technical learning done in the classroom to the real-world applications of facilities such as the Cliffs iron ore mine. Show less
