      Responsible for actualizing a Regional Presence, Arts Season, LSSU Theatre Season, University Service, and Innovation of the Arts Center at Lake Superior State University. This is accomplished through the following: Acting as the main point of contact for the venue use and event information, communicating effectively with internal and external customers. Coordinate with the building custodian, Physical Plant, Public Safety, and others. Monitor and maintain the building and performance spaces, including the equipment. Recommend repairs and improvements, including purchases of new technical equipment. Monitor and maintain inventory levels for all soft goods. Oversee design and construction spaces, including the scene shop and tools/equipment within. Participate in tech rehearsals, load-ins, and all other functions relevant to the run of an event. Generate new partnerships with local entities that invite opportunity for more use of the facility and revenue generation, including with Canadian arts partners. Assist in communicating policies concerning the Arts Center to the campus community. Train and manage all technical staff of the Arts Center, including student workforce and volunteers.
