I started here as a co-op student, and was hired before I had finished. I have trained approximately 15 employees, and continue to increase my range of abilities and responsibilities. I prepare and package product and assist with inventory, merchandising, and cake decorating when needed. I clean, organize, and help to implement new measures (including my own ideas) to increase the Bakery Department's efficiency, in order to improve the employee and customer experience. I started Baked By Wray to offer an affordable variety of baked goods. Because including myself, the people I'm around aren't fond or are bored of traditional baked goods. So part of my mission is to create cakes and other baked goods that appeal to a specific person's preferences. Also, I love dogs, so I make dog treats and birthday/adoptiversary cakes! I operate under the values of affordability, variety, sustainability, and environmental awareness. I make the effort to conserve water, prevent garbage and food waste, use Organic, Non GMO, Local, and Sustainable ingredients, provide biodegradable/recyclable/minimal packaging, and more. I encourage my clients to do the same with their orders. I am self taught, but I went to college for Business Management, and Baking and Pastry Arts to further my knowledge, and become more successful in making others happy through my baking. Show less
