Robotic Crane Design

The objective of this report is to develop a robotic crane design that is as efficient and stiff as possible for the San Diego Port Authority. The crane must be able to carefully load and unload cargo in the shortest amount of time possible. In addition, the crane must stay within a given area in order to avoid intruding on neighboring property. Cranes are restricted to a given footprint and designs can only be constructed out of the available materials specified by the Port Authority.
