Stefan is a remarkable young man. His professionalism, passion and pursuit of excellence was evident in his work as curator at TEDxUF. I had the pleasure of getting to know Stefan during the months leading up to TEDxUF 2013. He proved to be an excellent mentor, guiding and encouraging me as I prepared for my talk. He always knew what to say to make me feel confident, whether it was "I love that idea" to "That's great, how about...". He knew how to speak to me in a manner that helped me grow as a speaker. TEDxUF 2013 was a success because of his leadership. He effortlessly managed several students, volunteers, and - most of all - speakers. He was involved in all aspects of the event, yet he never appeared to micro-manage, which I believe is a characteristic of an excellent leader. Stefan undoubtedly has a great career ahead of him, and he will be an asset to any organization. I look forward to hearing him on the TED stage one day.
