  Established university’s first-ever faculty development position. Worked with faculty and administrative stakeholders to identify core competencies for faculty teaching online; developed a competency-based micro-credentialing process for certification; curated a resource-bank of scholarly and trade resources for each competency; led faculty in month-long cohort-based learning circles to revise their courses. 100% of participants reported that the experience improved their courses and that they will transfer skills and knowledge to other courses.Spearheaded university’s first faculty development program for writing support. Worked with administrators and faculty committees to garner institutional support and funding for new initiative. Developed curriculum drawing on Writing Across the Curriculum, Online Writing Instruction, and adult learning scholarship. Ten week program, delivered through both synchronous and asynchronous modalities. Faculty revised one of their courses to integrate writing-based pedagogies, sharpened assignments to maximize students’ critical thinking, and adapted online writing instruction best practices.   Virtual Course Design Lab Project. Working with the National University of Science and Technology MISIS, Moscow, Russia to develop a competency framework for online course design for new faculty. Masterclass in Curriculum Design. Worked with Termez State University in Termez, Uzbekistan to develop faculty skills in curriculum design. Used backward design principles to co-create, with faculty, the university's first American Studies course. Participant evaluation averaged 4.8 out of 5. Research and Writing Faculty Development Workshops. Worked with Al Farabi Kazakh National University in Almaty, Kazakhstan to develop faculty and advanced graduate skills in scholarly research and writing. Participant evaluation averaged 4.75 out of 5. One Health and Health Management Writing Workshop Series. Worked with University of Global Health Equity in Butaro, Rwanda to support graduate writing skills. Based on focus groups and syllabus review, developed a longitudinal workshop series to cover all stages of the writing process. 100% of participants reported learning a great deal. Plagiarism rates went from 42% to 0%. The series inspired UGHE to develop an academic integrity course that they offer to other African universities. Doctoral Writing Support project.
