Bio
Caroline Fieux
During the Olympic and Paralympics games, Winnie was a key intern of the Language Services team who worked long and irregular hours depending upon the requirements of the schedule and she gained considerable experience at the competition venue of Shatin and the Olympic/Paralympic Village. The Games in Hong Kong were a great success, drawing congratulations and compliments from a wide range of people, from athletes and officials to spectators who attended the games, and even people who watched them on television. This success owes much to the dedication, enthusiasm and hard work of all staff each of whom helped in their own particular way to produce such a successful outcome. I am pleased to report that Winnie contributed in large measure to the good results, working cooperatively with colleagues and enduring long and sometimes arduous hours without complaint or rancor. This successful outcome is something for which all team members, including Winnie, should have every reason to feel proud; I thoroughly enjoyed having her on the team and sincerely hope that she also enjoyed the Olympic experience.
