  In 2014, I decided to set up a retail business to sell Natural stones, tiles, and kitchen worktop. I am responsible for running the company on a day-to-day basis; current achievements are: • Setup a retail store in Maidenhead with a large patio display which I designed with Landscapers. • Established a supply-chain with key industry suppliers and sorted the logistic to organise customer delivery. • Hired and managed Shop managers and sales executive to develop sales. • In the first year, I manage to hit a target of £70k gross sales which increased to £250k by 2020. • Developed commercial customers by organising events which contributed to 20% of corporate sales and 15 key accounts till 2020. • Successfully installed 25 kitchens in a well-renowned development in Reading. • Developed a business website, i.e. www.rightstones.co.uk and an online web presence from scratch with social media awareness and converted enquires into profitable sales. • Developed and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers, through excellent customer service, keeping them informed of product developments and responding to their business needs and requirements efficiently and effectively. • Completed and maintained a comprehensive business development plan for each critical account. • Account management, including ensuring terms and conditions are signed, invoices paid on time and queries promptly resolved by liaising with sales administration. • Successfully transitioned the business to generate more online sales during the troublesome time of COVID-19 market shutdown.
