Work with local businesses to develop individualized paid 4-week work experience internships consistent with the consumer’s vocational goal. Introduce the job seeker to the work based experience supervisor, provide any needed orientation to the work site, and coordinate with agency staff as needed to ensure needed AT (assistive technology) is available to the individual.Develop, implement, and facilitate a Job Club curriculum that develops consumer’s ability to locate and apply for vacant employment opportunities, develop interview skills, and enhance and develop job-related soft-skills (accepting criticism, interpersonal communication, dependability, and teamwork among others) and model discussion group with consumers.
