  At the Bengals, I performed on-field at Paul Brown Stadium for each home game during pre-game, half-time, and time outs with a group of 25 other professional musicians. Also, I entertained fans prior to the game at the tailgates surrounding the stadium from early morning until game time. I had a lot of fun performing for the Bengals, working around a national football team is very exciting!   At the Blue Stars, I performed for 3 summers across the United States, each spanning 25-30 states in 3 months. I led the on-field percussion section, a group of 25 highly trained musicians for 3 years. I motivated the percussion section to advance in placement each year that I led, guiding us to earn top honors on an international stage.The Blue Stars gave me a huge opportunity to grow into a leadership role. This was the first experience I had leading a group under pressure and it turned out to push me further than I thought possible. This experience taught me to deal with all kinds of conflict under pressure, when it counts.

It was my first opportunity to work with kids, something I value very much now. Having the opportunity to work with this group taught me much about how to "flip the switch" in a professional environment. This was especially important for me because at the time I was actually teaching a few kids who were older than me. I developed a new level of professionalism and understanding thanks to my experience here.
