National Sales Development Manager at Fisher & Paykel Appliances
-
Jan 2017 - Apr 2018
End of 2016 Fisher & Paykel started down a path in identifying areas to improve and one large area for improvement was providing better service to our accounts. One area we found we could improve upon was providing a more proactive approach with our smaller dealers. Inside Sales became the obvious solution to provide the right level of service our dealers deserve. I spent the end of 2016 and start of 2017 putting together an Inside Sales team. I worked with a number of different functions of the business to create the structure and foundation for our new Inside Sales team. Just recently, we hired 3 fantastic inside sales representatives. In our first full quarter of sales, the team achieved 19% growth over 2016. We had one member grow his territory 30%. Great results in a short period of time. My main focus, aside from hitting sales targets, will be coaching, developing and leading our Inside Sales team. The exciting part about the Inside Sale team is opportunity to help develop them into our future leaders of our sales organization.Like many leaders, I wear multiple hats. The “other hat” is driving for an improved in-store retail experience for our brand. My main goal is providing a consistent brand experience at all touch point. As part of the improved retail experience, I am also the NA lead for our transformational work; work that is designed to drive a change in behavior that will set us up to win.

National Account Manager
-
Jan 2015 - Apr 2017
I was responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies within our large national retailers and buy groups. I worked with Lowe's, Pacific Sales, Pirch, Nationwide, Brandsource and Mega. Along with implementing sales and marketing strategies, I also planned, managed and successfully executed 9 trade shows. At the end of 2015, I moved away from working with Pacific Sales, Pirch and the 3 buy groups. I continued to work with Lowe's due to the relationship and projects I had started with them. The biggest win came with Lowes. Spent all of 2015 and 2016 working hard with them and it finally paid off in 2017. Increased our floor representation by 600 stores (displaying dish drawer) and aligned with Lowe's strategically to be in key markets with full Fisher & Paykel packages. In 2017, I will handing off the Lowe's account to our new strategic account manager. This will allow me to focus on running our Inside Sales and Special projects.

Parts and Sales Manager
-
Jan 2008 - Sep 2011
Valley Oak Appliance is a business my mother started 25+ years ago. Specializing is the full service. Sales, delivery/install, parts and service. I spent my time there working in the warehouse (inventory management), delivery and installation, new appliance sales, and running the parts department. This experience has provided me a fantastic foundation to business while instilling a work ethic to work as hard as it takes to deliver.
