Will was elected twice to the Mississippi Senate, where he earned a reputation as a hard-working and effective legislator. He wrote numerous bills that became law, and he was recognized as an advocate for victims of domestic violence and for children with special educational needs. Following his service in the legislature, he served as a County Court Judge, presiding over both civil and criminal trials. Will holds an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University, where he majored in English and Government, with a concentration in political theory. He earned his law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law. During law school, Will was selected as a member of the Appellate Advocacy Competition Team, and he also served as the first legal intern for U.S. District Court Judge Michael P.
