The company's mission is to professionalize and strengthen the financial management of small and medium-sized enterprises, a segment that lacks knowledge and professional services. Over these 5 years, 42 companies have been assisted by Ekonos Consulting. The majority are medium-sized industries in various sectors. We have also served companies in the agricultural, forestry, real estate, professional services, online commerce, retail, fashion, food and beverage, construction, textile, among other sectors, as well as a few large-sized companies. Below, I briefly outline my duties: - Preparation of a company-wide Financial Model following IFRS accounting standards, respecting the client’s corporate structure, including its subsidiaries, group consolidations, and multinational footprint. - Elaboration of historical Income Statements, Cash Flow Statements, and Balance Sheets, as well as their forecasted versions (typically spanning 5 to 10 years). - Devising deleveraging and solvency plans for highly indebted companies. - Development of the client’s quarterly and yearly Budget, cascading it into its business units, subsidiaries, departments, and products. - Formulation of tax planning to identify possible tax-saving strategies while ensuring compliance with legislation. - Conducting audits of past exercises. - Providing financial advice to clients during M&A processes, typically offering multiple scenarios predicting different approaches to the negotiation process. - Developing valuation processes to support either the client’s new acquisitions or their funding via investors.
