Managed both individual and co-taught English programs with full integration into the curriculum and culture. Directed extracurricular camps to expand geographical reach and student learning. --- Key Successes: • Obtained near-100% approval rating over consecutive semesters from students, parents, and community members, reflecting a significant improvement from the previous five years of classroom management and ending the once-high 50% employee turnover. Integrated duties as civic participant, office manager, and school representative, helping to stabilize program employment after departure. • Introduced novel curricula like “The History of Games,” which provided English-speaking opportunities across multiple subjects, transforming daily curricula from textbook-based lessons to interactive presentations whereby written lessons became tools with which students engaged in English conversations. Gained approval to integrate the program full-time. • Revised step-level class materials that built upon strengths of the classroom textbook. Simplified presentations and worksheets with textbook-based images and teaching points that allowed PowerPoint files to serve as the source of worksheets, and vice versa. Standardized formatting to allow adaptation per grade level and review. Show less

These responsibilities included mutual fund and alternative investment research and outlook and performance reports, and client management through Schwab Portfolio Center and Salesforce. Provided oversight for firm-wide trade operations and project management. --- Key Successes: • Reconfigured $100 million AUM of equity and alternative allocations, allowing flexibility within the asset allocation model. Both new and existing relationships required on-the-go client research, as-needed meetings with relationship advisors, and oversight of project and service implementation. --- Key Successes: • Assumed responsibility mid-project for multiple TMOs without prior internal or external relationships. Received cold calls from relationship managers for industries such as health care and manufacturing asking for an inventory of services or current assessment of client relationships. Screened existing books of business to determine best path for TMOs to expand the relationship. Cooperated with TMOs, relationship managers, or other sales associates to propose the proper level of involvement. • Renewed services for clients inactive for several years, resulting in 20 new corporate accounts with reporting services. Navigated the company’s intraweb for client information, services, and relevant paperwork to help the client self-identify, outlining a map of each service, relevant account, and the direction of cash flow for each. Recommended options to ensure consistency in services across all accounts while introducing relationships managers to ensure a “warm, comprehensive welcome.”

Converted branch preparation time into service reviews and consolidated responsibilities for colleagues. Reviewed security rotations and accepted increased responsibility to ensure the safety and performance of colleagues. Maintained and elevated new levels of service, leading to a 1st place ranking in customer service while isolated from management or corporate oversight.

Principles such as budgeting, marketing, and management were discussed during monthly meetings, and these concepts were applied with regular meetings with each individual professor. Programs were tailored to the lack of human and financial resources available considering that both colleagues and students came from disadvantaged areas. --- Communication was difficult at first as both myself and several personnel spoke Spanish as a secondary language. Bolivia, Ecuador, and other close areas have the largest indigenous population in the world, and with that comes the largest group of indigenous language-speaking people. I worked to obtain the second highest level of Spanish fluency possible according to Peace Corps standards. In addition, my job was “multi-level” in that more formal, abstract ideas were discussed with professors during the day. Over shared dinner or free time, the students and I would brainstorm the application of these ideas. --- Before the Bolivia program was terminated, the professor of carpentry and I had developed a full budgeting and inventory management system. As an entire boarding school, 200 community and external shareholders attended our “Protect Our Environment” exhibition where students displayed sustainable practices for their field. Inventory and costs associated with each practice were also presented. It was the first of its kind, and allowed the students to see their skills function outside the classroom. Show less
