  Fourchon, Louisiana I am one of two dynamic position officers on watch at a time. As such I hold a tremendous amount of responsibility for the safety of the vessel, the environment, and our crew. I monitor the DP system and environmental conditions for changes that might affect our position keeping abilities. Other duties include the direct supervision of a team of deck hands, dealing with daily maintenance tasks as well as the loading and offloading of cargo.
