      Rapid City, South Dakota, United States Returned to the Rapid City office as a Residential Technician after a few months into COVID. At this time, it was more important to be around to help family so moved for that reason. Returned to my original installation duties but also become one of the technical field trainers. We also managed a ticket and email bin for any network related issues occurring company wide - email account setting management, DMCA database management, configuration and setting changes (on fiber switches - Cisco and Adtran, as well as Ethernet switches), Copper Switch Management, Working with third party companies (to handle outages, internal troubleshooting, or external troubleshooting), and/or DSL management. In this position I created a secondary database for Network Intrusions to mimic the database of the DMCA violations, in order to track offenses from certain IPs. I also wrote multiple procedural forms to the process to which the databases should be used. We managed our own SharePoint, and I updated every reference in order to make sure all proper documentation for position was present. We would perform mass upgrades for modems/EMTA over coaxial or DSL. We also would perform all configuration changes for all phone provisioning on the residential and business side. I was trained in backup procedures in case of critical emergency and took on-call after one week of in-house training. I'm trained in handling company communication in outage or critical situations and am no stranger to long hours and short nights.

This would be anywhere from Operating System changes, hardware troubleshooting, to software troubleshooting (CAD, virus protection programs, etc.). We preformed all internal repairs in-house.
