I ensure that all IHG systems and processes are adhered to and work with our HR team to develop our colleagues skills and knowledge. During the last 2 months of last year and first 2 months of this year, I have been project managing the implementation of several Capex works in the absence of a Director of Engineering. This involved the conversion of 5 of our Club rooms to self contained units, installation of a 1 mega litre water tank for the resort. I have also been working on preparation of Capex submissions to our owners for new equipments that will enhance or improve our service to our guests. We are currently working on carrying out the preventative maintenance of 216 rooms out of our 271 room resort (12 rooms at a time). I started the planning of this preventative maintenance program late 2015 with the guidance of the AGM & RM. Show less

I was also working with the CE & ACE to train and implement the engineering teams SOP's. Worked shift work during the first 3 months of operations to attend to breakdowns such as blockages and malfunctioning equipment. Also ensured that equipments were inspected regularly and started to gather data to assist with implementation of preventative maintenance on all plants and equipments. I was promoted to ACE in 2007 and ensured we had a proper stores and purchasing systems which also was able to generate work request either reactive (requests from other departments) or planned works which was based on the equipment data logged into the resorts maintenance program. I was also the champion (2008) of the resorts environment program (Green Engage) and ensured we achieved bronze certification before a compliance manager was employed in 2009. Show less
