Acted as the technical expert in Hewlett Packard Quality Center Application Lifecycle Manager (HPQC-ALM). Refined the test process and procedures that enhanced the quality of the test data. Conducted analysis that revealed that only 29% of the defects were bug related and the remainder of the defects could be traced to quality issues such as poor CM, neglected data staging, operators not following scripts, poorly written scripts/scenarios and poor customer relations in capturing requirements. Enhanced the use of HPQC by converting over 40 scenarios and scripts and uploaded them into HPQC. Standardized the defect management process. The process improvement focused on the interaction of the test plan development, the defect data capturing method and the analysis and reporting. The standardization created a streamlined system that speed up the test plan development, defect management and analysis/reporting which significantly improved the quality of information delivered to developers and the PMO.
