Issaquah, Washington, United States As a flagger, I am responsible for the safety and setup of job locations as well as flagging all traffic safely around the work being done, even when there's no one working on the road I always keep safety in mind and flag or labor if needed. During a typical day I put up proper signage, cones, type 3 barricades and any other required materials needed around workers and equipment to ensure maximum safety so the job could be completed. Federal Way, Washington, United States As the Logistics Supervisor, I was responsible for The unloading of trucks and freight using our forklift which I was certified for and skilled at using as well as pallet jacks and of course my bare hands. I would also load smaller trucks with our defects which I would palletize and securely wrap myself and make sure everything was properly documented for shipping. The crew that I was in charge of consisted of 8 people and we worked as a unit, very well. The crew that I was in charge of consisted of 8 people and we worked as a unit, very well. We would converse via radio and headset for accuracy to move freight and call out items needed on the Sales floor or in the warehouse. For the freight, we used a hand scanner and computer program to check against the manifest to make sure all items received were correct and the correct amounts. I lifted up to 70 pounds, sometimes heavier but with an assist for proper procedure. I implemented new storing methods for our freight as well as smoother product flow through our warehouse. I would also cashier from time to time when they needed and was happy to help in any area I could. Show less
