  780 Fisherman Street 4th Floor Opa-locka, FL 33054 This summer i was given the opportunity to work in the finance department for the city of Opa-Locka. The city has been crushed by debt for years and under watch of a state oversight board. Joining the team this summer I have been involved in many different projects. In the beginning of the summer I worked with accountants where I created a void check binder for the last five fiscal years. In the beginning of the summer I worked with accountants where I created a void check binder for the last five fiscal years. I had to create a void check binder of all the customers of the city of Opa-Locka water & sewage system Resulting in needed information of the last 5 fiscal years being easily accessible.I was able to see this information used when I sat in on the 5-year city planning meeting. While I was there I drafted a proposal for camera surveillance to prevent illegal dumping in the city.
