Leawood Kansas I was going to Centriq Training for the IT Network Administrator program. I had the privilege of learning a wide array of Windows products. I learned Windows Server 2008r2, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, and I was taught how to build a Microsoft Exchange Server. I have a good foundation of how DHCP, DNS, WINS, and Active Directory works. I was taught what subnet masking is used for and the different types of class of IP adresses, i.e Class A, Class B, and Class C. There are a few other types but we did not get to in depth into them. With all the work we did in the class room environment we did on Virtual Machines (Oracle Virtual Machine). While using the VM's we were able to create multiple domains and child domains and make them communicate with each other. I highly recommend this school to anyone who has the desire to learn and have hands on experience with the technology that is in our future. Show less

    • Infantryman
      • Jun 2006 - Sep 2010

Served as an infantry team leader where I had 5 soldiers in which I was in charge of. My duties included training not only myself but of the soldiers I was in charge of, teaching combat drills both under pressure and in a classroom environment. I started my career off as a PFC and in my four years of service I had made the rank of Sergeant. I did a 15 month tour to Iraq during 2007-2008. I was medically discharged under honorable conditions.
