I work as a team member in a very chaotic environment as a wrecker operator. This is not like towing cars off the highway. The truck is often used as an extraction tool and often used to stabilize cars as we remove the driver. This requires that a rigging plan is formulated quickly and executed even faster with the ultimate in safety at all times. Our cleanup times are usually are less than 5 minuets from the time we get to the crash until we hand the track back to race control.
