• Planned maintenance development for new and existing process equipment in Cider Production. • Managed accelerated RCM teams.• In depth use of SAP. • Root cause and analysis of production issues and process improvement. Gained knowledge on the use of RSLogix PLC programming software as well as regularly using the process data analysis and reporting software Wonderware Intouch.• I spent 7 months working on energy reduction at a large 3.6 million hl/year brewery. This included extensively using consumption monitoring software to evaluate thermal, electrical and water usage across the plant to analyse areas of over-usage and therefore potential areas for savings/efficiency improvements.• I was involved in energy projects such as:o The feasibility study and consultation with contractors for installing a 500kw wind turbine to produce a portion of the brewery’s electricity.o Proving via consumption monitoring and calculation the justification for installing a vapour heat recovery system which equates to an annual gas saving of over £150,000o Leading a team following TPM methodology to improve the use of steam and preventing live steam passing from a flash steam vent saving the company money and improving safety. o Analysis of boiler efficiency and capacity vs plant requirements.• I was in charge of a team to investigate a quality issue caused by the glycol cooling system in the plant. The project involved applying engineering knowledge as well as persuasive skills as the issue was high level so involved consultation with the engineering manager, quality managers and brewery manager. • I have learnt how to apply TPM methodology to manage fast paced multi disciplinary teams. • Experience in developing LOTO isolation procedures for complex process equipment.
