In 2005 I graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Landscape Design/Build. I enjoyed years of being formally educated by some of the country's best professors in all things landscape related: horticulture, soil and turf science, design theory and layout, functional site assessment along with business management and sales. Some of the best years of my life were spent walking the beautiful and expansive campus at University Park, PA and learning distinctive characteristics and identification of trees, shrubs and perennials in real life. Completing 2 summer internships for The Brickman Group while in school opened my eyes to the enormous opportunities in the world of commercial landscape maintenance and I spent the next decade learning the business and growing my career alongside many of the industry's finest mentors. The culture was engrained in me to do what's right for the client, take care of your front line people, and success will be long lasting. Brickman went through a change of ownership and culture and I decided it was a time for me to look at a change as well. I spent some time with one of the areas finest landscape design build firms learning new skills related to hardscaping and landscape lighting. I ended up back in the commercial landscape industry joining many past Brickman colleagues in the exciting turn around of TruGreen LandCare where I spent about 4 years developing team leadership and business management skills. Wanting to spend more time at home with my family, I decided to take a leap of faith to be full time self employed as a Realtor which was a natural fit for me in terms of serving clients. When Covid hit the news was terrible, daily. I started posting videos about plants to share content other than doom and gloom. Friends and family reached out to me to transform their home landscape environment and Beerman and Sons Landscaping was born. I love landscaping and am determined to create a legacy for my sons.

Maintain relationships with current clients while growing our business through the additon of new accounts. Managing the overall landscape functionality and appeal in a wide variety of commerical markets including class A office space, retail shopping malls, hospitals and retirement/assisted living facilities, apartment complexes, etc. When I'm not with clients, I spend most of my time out in the landscape with our talented team members. We work together to identify areas for enhancements to approve the overall appearance of the landscape while achieving functional and safe conditions. In the Winter, we specialize in snow removal and ice management and I'm responsible for negotiating service agreements with our clients while aligning the proper mix of manpower and equipment to make it all come together !
