  Luton Hoo is a luxurious hotel, golf and spa result located on acres of land. I help with conference and banqueting where I have to help set up, help out in and take down events. It's mostly dinner related so it's important to be organised and efficient with this role. I also work at the bar for events like weddings and business parties. I prepare all the resources and then serve the guests drinks. All these roles are hard work but gives me a sense of accomplishment when I do it.   I volunteered at Keech Hospice for my DofE and it was actually one of the unexpected enjoyable jobs I had to do. My roles were to firstly keep the shop floor organised and clear, therefore the customers could find products more easy. Donated products I sorted in the back room so they were ready to go out to the shop floor when needed. Finally I worked on the book scanner which would work out the value of a book that were donated. The ladies I worked with made my time enjoyable and I really appreciated the chance to help out. Show less
