Responsible for keeping cGMPs uptodate and ensuring compliance. Responsible for ensuring that feed and food safety programs are reviewed and adhered to. Provide laboratory analytical testing and support services to all plant and office personnel as requested. Utilize proper research methodologies to plan and execute the research activities under the direction of Lab manager and Director of R&D. Maintain the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) including: software updates, adding tests, methods, calculations, limits, etc. Responsible for maintaining adequate chemical, instrument, and laboratory supply inventory. Audit the plant safety programs. Work with the company Environmental Health and Safety Manager and the Plant Manager to continuously improve plant safety. Responsible for keeping the plant safety SOPs relevant and uptodate. Review assigned plants HACCP program on a semiannual basis and evaluate critical control points (CCP).
