Will Fantle is a valuable asset to any team. I had the privledge of working with Will in a fast-paced, intense and high-expectation company culture. Will's commitment to customers, his team and his business partners was second to none. Will constantly strives to ensure that he dives deep on assignments by being data driven and keeping his focus on customer obsession. Will's growing knowledge and passion around social responsibility and sustainability issues within a company will serve him well for whatever team he is on. His global and cultural awareness continues to grow as he travels to remote places in the world, working directly with factories and business partners to ensure that the job gets done correctly. Will's creative and solution-oriented thought process, mixed with his data driven skillset, provides him with a formidable set of skills to add value to any team. I can highly recommend Will for a team that needs a strong member that will take a project and run with it.

As the second hire to a team tasked with disrupting a new private label category on Amazon.com, I wore nearly every hat as we moved from concept to development to commercialization.During the concept phase, I wrote and templatized data-supported market research reports with recommendations on white space opportunities. As we moved into development, I managed relationships with over a dozen international suppliers, and created processes to on-board and track social responsibility audits at over 100 factories. Finally, once our products entered commercialization, I represented Amazon by travelling to Asia to meet face to face with five of our strategic manufacturers. As a secondary responsibility, I also streamlined the on-boarding process for new hires to our organization, during a time when headcount increased four-fold over an 18-month period.

    • Centralized Flow Lead - Amazon Fulfillment
      • Oct 2015 - Sep 2016

My first job out of college, I managed the operational flow of one of Amazon's largest fulfillment centers (FCs), directly impacting the on-time shipment of 300,000+ items and millions of dollars in orders each day. Armed with data, I effectively communicated high impact and real-time recommendations to all levels of the FC's operations team, helping maximize utilization, and minimize the chance of customer orders missing their shipments. When waters were calm, I built and refined excel tools to improve the efficiency of myself and co-workers, and during high severity instances such as electrical and mechanical outages, I was solely responsible for mitigating risk and clearly communicating a resolution strategy.

As co-founder and president of ReThink, University of Washington's first business sustainability club, I helped design the organization from the ground up: establishing the mission, logo, marketing strategy, target audience, and legacy. I also selected and oversaw ReThink's eight-member executive board, and coordinated events with other clubs across campus, including the first UW Resilience Summit, which included a panel of eight industry specialists and 45 student participants. At Utrip I gained firsthand experience in the fast paced and highly competitive start-up environment. My duties involved conducting secondary research on restaurants and activities in ten different countries, and creating original content under tight weekly deadlines. Additionally, I participated in bi-monthly marketing brainstorming sessions with the CEO, offering ideas to fuel the next phase of development.
