The Department of Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies provides a BA and serves 200 Majors and Minors and hundreds more students through broad course work. We operate in three venues and employ a full production staff including a 3-person costume shop, 3-person scene shop, Props Artisan, Theater Supervisor and Assistant Production Manager who each contribute to the teaching and learning through practical application. Each semester we mount up to three fully produced works with students executing well over half of the work under professional supervision. As Production Manager, I work closely with Faculty, participating in season selection. My role is directly responsible for scheduling all technical elements within the semester and ensuring smooth integration of complex labs that result in our ticketed productions.

Executive Assistant to Helen & John Meyer
-
Jan 2008 - Jul 2013
Meyer Sound is a dynamic, industry leading manufacturer of groundbreaking audio products at which I was honored and thrilled to work for almost six years. Working closely with the founders, I helped to ensure smooth operation of high level meetings, travel and day to day functions. My varied skills and background and close relationship to Helen and John allowed me to be engaged in the growth of the facilities in Berkeley, working closely on expansion and remodeling. My production and event experience was put to use participating in trade shows, annual meetings and numerous special events hosted at the factory which included coordination of catering, entertainment and other logistics. Working directly with the owners of the company was a truly unique experience that provided many varied opportunities well suited to my portfolio of skills.
