  • Between my 3rd and 4th year of University secured a paid summer internship with a building services company. • Utilised AutoCAD daily to retrieve information from building plans, this was essential to several tasks I completed such as SBEM and BREEAM. • Conducted multiple SBEM reports on several buildings to determine their thermal efficiency, this lead to an understanding of the SBEM software, and was able to improve my efficiency of methods for collecting the building data for the report. • Assessed the environmental impact of the Newark and Sherwood Council office building, using data and evidence sourced from the main contractor. As a result, the BREEAM rating improved from ‘good’ (68%) to ‘excellent’ (73%). Show less
