  laga. Although many think of a language course as simple I applied my learning both in and outside the classroom. My professors spoke minimal English, my homestay spoke no English and the mass majority of the public spoke minimal English, forcing me to apply my teachings. My abroad experience taught me so much more than the Spanish language. It improved my general outside knowledge, an appreciation of the opportunities I have had, and an ability to get even further outside my comfort zone. Show less
