Bio
Farzad Nobar
Wilko is one of those rare people who truely understand storage and the storage industry. He is one of the most knowledgeable storage engineers I have met, but he is also very good at presenting the most complex topcis so that everybody understands them. He is also capable of analysing a particular client situation and quickly help them solve their problems. I had the pleasure to work with Wilko in various occasions (events, client support...) and each time Wilko's contribution was key to getting things done the right way.
Jordan Hubbard
Wilko has been a long-time volunteer in the FreeBSD project, and not one content to simply "hang around on the periphery" but rather one who's always been willing to step up and do whatever needs doing, whether it's helping the core team be more effective or actually joining the core team as a full member, where he remains today. Wilko is especially well-suited to this role, bringing a combination of technical competence and calm, level-headed thinking (even when those around him are being rather less successful in that regard) to the job. He's not just a smart guy, but a genuinely nice one as well and someone it's always been a pleasure to work with!
