As Programme Manager for Safety provided a combination of subject matter expertise and technical skills to lead a programme of safety work at national, regional and local levels. This involved the production of four highly successful patient safety e-learning modules: Safe Use of Insulin; Safe Management of Hypoglycaemia; Safe Use of Non Insulin therapies and the Safe Use of Intravenous Insulin Infusion. These modules have been nationally recognised and the Safe Use of Insulin module was a finalist in the HSJ awards 2011.
