Wilbur had worked for the University of Alberta for over ten years, and I was fortunate to have an opportunity to engage with Wilbur while he was embedded in the Service Excellence Transformation team at the UofA. Wilbur was responsible for providing support to all the PMO groups with his expertise. I found Wilbur to be a brilliant person, an honest, a hard worker, trustful, a collaborator and an excellent team player who was willing to go out of his way to help others accomplish their objectives. Wilbur communicated effectively with his colleagues and showed a lot of pride in his work. He maintained a positive attitude and had an excellent work ethic. Wilbur is a brilliant fellow who embraces change and has developed skills to be resilient and agile, providing him with the flexibility to adapt to the changing work environment. I always drew upon Wilbur’s knowledge and abilities in the Project Management area. He is highly skilled with the Project Management methodologies in creating a schedule and powerful dashboards, simple to follow and yet highly effective for the senior management. Wilbur was an exceptional employee; the SET team will miss him. I wish Wilbur all the best in his future endeavours.

Dean B.

Wilbur takes pride in his work, is conscientious, and supports others to succeed. He was running the PMO at UofA and needed to handover the role to the new PMO lead (myself) before starting a new role. It would have been very easy (and understandable) for him to do a quick and easy transition and leave some vague notes on content and processes as he only had 1 week before leaving the organization. Instead he took substantial time to set me up for success in a way that was professional, organized and supportive.
