Bio
Karin Wiberg
Wiebke is a highly competent, exceptionally well-organized and hard-working environmental/analytical chemist with training and skills in target and non-target high resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) screening of contaminant of emerging concern (CECs) in biota. During her time at SLU, she has been a highly esteemed colleague, always respected and appreciated by her peers. As one of her PhD supervisors, I can assure that Wiebke has a very special spark and I can warmly recommend her as your next coworker.
Helena Sales-Ortells
I had the pleasure of supervising Wiebke Dürig’s Master Thesis at KWR Watercycle Research Institute. Wiebke is a very hard-working and motivated researcher and proof of it is that, during the short period of two months, she was able to develop a risk assessment model on viruses in crops irrigated with reclaimed water. She is also a very proactive person and she found key literature for the model that allowed us to cover important gaps. Furthermore, she is very inquisitive and challenging, and her reasoning brought up different points of view, improving the quality of the research. The work she did contributed to a scientific publication in the peer-reviewed journal Food Research International.
