After Natec Nederland was up and running and growing rapidly, I set up a new company within the Natec Group under the company name Direct Solar. With my employer I thought through a entirely new online concept to sell solar systems to the Dutch consumer. Primary my job is to create a website with a lot of functionalities. This makes it possible for consumers to learn everything about solar energy, very easily compose their own solar system, taking their situation into account and purchasing the system online. My job therefore includes product analysis, contracting, purchase agreements etc. You could say my job consists out of two parts: - Maintaining/controlling the current portfolio - Looking for opportunities by making roadmaps, comparing possibilities and implement them in the company. Furthermore it's my responsibility that every employee has disposition over a certain level of product knowledge. To accomplish this, I always have to keep my colleagues updated by giving presentations, writing manuals, providing training etc. Another responsibility I have is to be informed about every form of subsidy in the field of solar energy.
