Daniel is a natural born leader. I’ve worked with him at two companies, and at both places the majority of employees were there because they wanted to work with, and learn from him. He has a gift for homing in on what is valuable from a business perspective, rallying a team around a vision, and communicating persuasively and through story. He is hard-working, driven, and empathetic; deeply concerned with building alignment, and unafraid to have difficult conversations to maintain positive relationships. He holds himself and others to high standards and is constantly seeking to grow and improve, and better understand the trends of the industry in which he works, and the needs of the people he serves. I would highly recommend working with (or for) him in the future.

Daniel was the person who took a chance on me, creating a position at Avanoo, just to lure me over. It's been an incredibly fun, rewarding, and growing opportunity. We worked very closely on vision and strategy items for the company during my tenure. It's uncanny that he formed a company called, Avanoo which means "Open" "Now". Open now to your potential. Some of the things Daniel does seems almost unfathomable, begging the question, "What is potential?" because he can do so much given the limited time that he has. To this day, I still can't comprehend how he manages it all. Ranging from being a CEO and running a company, creating the vision and strategy, to leading sales efforts, creating the majority of company revenue, to leading customer interactions on experience while building relationships with key holders, to traveling around the world non-stop, to spending time with other CEO's on leadership development, to raising a young daughter and addressing family needs through it all. In my career, I've worked with former Presidents and CEOs and leaders of Fortune 1000 companies and I've never seen a schedule like Daniels'. It will be difficult to find another like his. It's non-stop at all hours of the morning, day, night, weekends, and holidays. Being a former wrestler probably has a lot to do with his ability to endure through hardships and challenges for years at a time while creating and leading an organization. On top of his tenacity and work rate, Daniel is naturally gifted at speaking with a wizard-like ability to influence. Coupled with his constant striving to improve and learn, makes him stand apart from others. Numerous times, I've seen executive leaders at well known, landmark companies having to follow Daniels' keynote with a look of "How am I supposed to follow that?". I've been a witness to others' attempt to emulate what Daniel created and shared on stage with less effect. Daniel is that good! There are those who feel comfortable at following and playing it safe. Then there are a few who are daring and even rebellious enough to try something new for a different way forward. Daniel is in that ilk. I appreciate the opportunity that he provided and gaining a friend along the way. I wish him some good rest along the way on his life long quest to make this world a better place.
