Organizing large amounts of information into computer files such as, contracts, leases, retention policies and agreements. Improved on reading and understanding skills of contracts and the different parts of agreements for large global corporations. Gaining invaluable experience at this corporate law internship and the daily activities that go along with the job. The Legal Resource Center is a community resource providing equal access to justice by providing legal information, education and assistance. Students from the Legal Assistant Program of Eastern Michigan University will work with patrons providing them with the necessary self-help materials in the following areas: small claims, family law, probate, and landlord-tenant. The materials include court forms with instructions on how to complete and file the documents with the court.
