Bio
Reuben Jaffe Goldstein
I had the pleasure of working with Wylie at Fifth Avenue Committee (FAC). We were both Project Managers managing projects in the Housing Development Department. Wylie was responsible for managing the rehabilitation of 21 affordable housing projects in Brooklyn, a multimillion dollar project that would provide higher living standards for FAC's residents. Wylie and I would work collaboratively when our projects overlapped. It became quickly apparent that Wylie is tenacious, in our department issues constantly arose and the majority of our days focused on putting out fires or trying to solve entrenched problems, Wylie would not quit until the issue was resolved. Wylie would manage personalities, with interests that were not always aligned, to ensure that the project was moving forward. When issues arose with tenants, Wylie would take the time to resolve the issues. Wylie was not afraid to make sure that people understood the issues and would not back down if an issue had not been resolved and could cause trouble to the process in the future. Wylie was willing to go the extra mile on tasks, and would implement processes that were detailed and easy to understand. She was a great colleague and I am glad we had the opportunity to work together.

I hired Wylie as a consultant for an analysis of housing needs in a specific Manhattan community district. To say she performed above and beyond the call of duty is an understatement. She is not only knowledgeable and principled, she is fanatical about getting it right and will not rest until she satisfies her own uncompromising standards. I urge anyone considering hiring or working with Wylie in any capacity to contact me directly so I can tell you more about her relentless pursuit of excellence. Regardless I give you my assurance that you will not be disappointed, you will be delighted.

I hired Wylie for a position to manage several grant applications for Hurricane Sandy recovery at NYCDOT. It was a chaotic time but Wylie was eager for the challenge, willing to learn and was always pro-active. I was always impressed with her work ethic, her ability to work with others, and to ask the right questions from other staff to move the projects forward. I was a new manager and Wylie was very supportive and always concerned about my well-being and that of our other colleagues. Wylie would be a great asset to any organization and I definitely recommend working with her.
