I've had the pleasure of working with Wes for the past three years at Effectv/Comcast Spotlight while he has been in his role as the market's Advanced Platform Solutions Manager. The thing that has stood out to me the most about Wes is his immense knowledge on the industry as a whole. In the short time that I've been in advertising sales (about 4 years now), things have changed quite a bit! Wes has always stayed up to date/forward-looking, consuming as much content on new trends, practices, companies, systems, competitors, data, etc. His knowledge that he then shares with us (sales-people) has really helped keep us one step ahead of our competition. Although Wes has the ability to go deep into the weeds of the industry, he also possesses the skill to be able to explain extremely technical & complicated content in very digestible and easily-understandable language (which makes a big difference for people like me).
