I was entrusted with numerous programs and equipment that were crucial to the success of the 59th Med Wing, JBSA-Randolph and the 9th Reconnaissance Squadron, Beale AFB. While serving at JBSA-Randolph, I lead classroom instruction, which included Powerpoint, hands-on materials, and testing materials. Promoting safe practices, situational awareness, and risk management were key concepts that I was charged with teaching. My students always left well-informed and ready for their next level of instruction. While serving at Beale, I managed assets that were highly valued to the Reconnaissance community. I maintained U-2 pressure suits and other essential survival equipment components, and I had to ensure each process was done thoroughly and effectively. These processes left me with the experience to pay close attention to detail, manage and work spreadsheets, and an ability to adapt and understand various programs.
