Wesley Thomas is an amazing French linguist and military historian. I have worked with him at numerous living history events such as the Alexandria-Caen Sister City Committee's D-Day Annual Commemoration. He does not hesitate to jump right into speaking French with anyone and native speakers are always amazed at his lack of American accent and fluency. I helped chaperone the French exchange students visiting his school and he made sure that they had an engaging trip and didn't have to worry about anything.
