• Develop, implement, and manage the Learn to Swim Programme in accordance with the governing body of Swim Wales’ national Learn to Swim plan, as well as develop and manage school holiday swim programmes to increase participation outside of school time. • Schedule primary swimming timetables and provide attentive and supportive primary swimming lessons. • Introduce and assist new staff members, ensuring they integrate successfully into existing programmes and are well-equipped to handle exercise and training practices. • Regularly develop new innovative retention plans to increase client base and encourage participation for as long as possible, introducing children to water safety and life skills as well as swimming technique. • Encourage and support clients who worry about their children not being accepted due to disabilities or behavioural difficulties, and help these children to improve their social skills, coordination, and swimming technique in the pool, resulting in improved self-esteem and confidence in the water.
