As a Senior Commercial Title Officer, I conduct title examinations on real property with highly complex chains of title, including surface and sub-surface lands, Indian trust and restricted lands, fee title, easement rights and leasehold estates to show proper legal description, current ownership, exceptions, restrictions and encumbrances of record. My role as Chief Title Officer has me wearing several hats. I manage, coach, mentor and counsel direct reports to develop skills, knowledge and techniques to ensure high production levels. I also serve as liaison for Alaska State Manager to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of title commitments statewide, recommending and implementing changes to structure and workloads as necessary based on business volume.
