Together with many stakeholders, the Chamber is developing the "next economy" via the Blue Economy Project centered around Cape Cod's significant water assets. Successful advocacy for new Canal bridges, a Water Protection Fund, tax parity between traditional hotel and short term rental occupancy, and a regional COVID-19 response are hallmarks of the organization's recent work. Affiliated corporations (The Cape Cod Blue Economy Foundation, Inc, Coastal Community Capital & CCEDC Inc.) provide direct services to local businesses with technical assistance and access to funding. As the region's destination marketing organization, the Chamber manages the marketing and advertising, including the Cape's largest website for travel info, generating millions of users and supporting the $1.3 billion visitor industry in the county. A revamped tiered dues system offers access to chamber networks for companies and entrepreneurs of all sizes. Show less
