  I qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives whilst I was employed by Donne Mileham and Haddock. I had worked for DMH for 15 years undertaking various areas of litigated law but predominately personal injury. I also enjoyed training solicitors during their qualifiying period and continued to do so at Gaby Hardwicke Solicitors. During my employment at Gaby Hardwicke I worked within a team on my own case load in all areas of personal injury. I constantly reached and exceeded targets set, the personal injury department was very successful with most cases by way of referral. I was asked to manage a team and became Litigation Manager of a successful team of four Executives/Trainee Solicitors showing good leadership skills and exceeding targets. I had an excellent rapport with my team ensuring my commitment to assist and teach them methodically and to utilise their own skills proactively. I managed the team structure effectively exceeding targets when my employers changed the team structure in all departments to individual Lawyers and a secretary and since then I have run my own cases with the assistance of a secretary which has also been highly successful.
