Worked with Wendy for almost 4 years and found her a deep thinker, strategic and demonstrated a logical approach to problem solving in a sometimes difficult environment.

I had the pleasure of working with Wendy from September 2012 until July 2014 whilst I was the Chief Executive Officer of Parks Victoria. Wendy held two roles with Parks Victoria - from September 2012 to January 2014 she was the Executive and Board Secretary, and from January 2014 until July 2014 she was the organization’s governance officer. During the time Wendy was with Parks Victoria, the organization was undergoing a major period of restructure and reinvigoration. This placed the staff and the board under considerable pressure. Wendy’s organizational skills and attention to detail were invaluable. She always sought to improve processes and systems, whilst simultaneously ensuring both the executive team and the board were provided with relevant, timely and accurate information. Wendy was adept at getting busy staff to provide feedback and inputs into documents and briefings. She was able to explain to staff what was needed, and the degree of urgency, in ways that encouraged them to be part of the solution rather than otherwise. Wendy has a very strong understanding of good governance and related procedures. Her calm demeanour helped people keep situations within perspective and she was always ready to pitch in and get jobs done. I have no hesitation in recommending Wendy to you.
