      I have earned almost 20 years of work experience working as a teacher for the City of West Haven. In 1999, I began working as a fourth grade teacher at Thompson Elementary School. After I earned my Master's degree, I began working as an ESL teacher at Washington Elementary School and Bailey Middle School from 2004-2009. After earning my doctorate degree in 2009, I transferred to West Haven High School to gain more leadership experience and have a true K-12 background experience. In 2010, I began working as a department chair at WHHS, where I have had the opportunity tohone my leadership skills. I am currently serving as a NEASC co-chair.
