Work in close partnership with the Company Management Team and possess the responsibility to: • Prepare competitive quotations based on a comprehensive review and understanding of customers’ specifications and project plans if it is a project. • Utilize the necessary knowledge, and provide accurate advice to customers to support and build sales. • Handle daily calls from customers with professionalism and integrity; and ensure the provision of timely follow-up on product inquiries and requests. • Verify and ensure correct pricing upon receipt of POs from customers. Liaise and re-quote customers in the case of incorrect pricing. • Establish good rapport with the various Lapp & Phoenix organizations and liaise with them on customers’ needs. • Generate an open quotation report for discussion with the respective Sales member. • Submit monthly open quotation reports to the immediate supervisor, together with problems encountered. • Update all expired quotations into the system. • Update the immediate supervisor on all activities concerning the customers and suppliers. • Provide support to the Sales Team on project quotes. • Undertake conscientiousness and receptiveness to customers’ needs. • Establish and maintain a high level of cooperation and teamwork amongst the Sales, Order Processing, and Purchasing teams.
